It is not difficult to install the POWERgrass hybrid system but it is certainly necessary to have expert personnel who have carried out at least three or better five installations because laying synthetic grass on a soft river sand bottom requires attention and experience.
In the common imagination it is thought that it is sufficient to level the land and sow the lawn, so that nature takes care of the rest. However, having to carry out a certain number of hours of sporting activities, often in the rain, modern sports fields are built on sandy substrates integrated with organic and mineral soil improvers. The POWERgrass system follows the same technology and includes a hybrid turf that allows more use of the playing field ensuring players maximum comfort and safety.
To exploit the maximum potential of the hybrid grass system, the installation must be entrusted to companies with experience in the installation of both natural grass and synthetic grass. The work vehicles must also work "lightly" on the existing soil and during the transport of the materials of the various drainage and plant layers.
During the construction phase, on any type of terrain, carry out the following operations:
During the installation phase of the POWERgrass hybrid grass system, care must be taken to ensure that a) the ground is well leveled and evenly rolled and the slope of the ground allows the water to flow towards the drains, b) bring the rolls of hybrid grass together and sew them, avoiding the formation of wrinkles, then lift the fibers trapped in the seams c) mix the sand with the soil improvers and then fill progressively the hybrid coat, carefully brushing and raking at each step to make the synthetic fibers protrude to the surfacepreventing them from being buried in the substrate.
Please note: It is imperative that synthetic fibers protrude to the surface to protect the crowns of natural grass.
